January 18/08 - Upcoming Ministries
“On Friday night & sat morning, Jan 18 & 19th, Dr. Mel Blackaby & I will be Co-Leading a Fountain of Prayer Conference, for two Churches in South Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Then on Sat afternoon, Brenda & I will drive 345Kms (210 miles) north to a church, where I will preach Sunday morning & then do a brief training session with their Finance Team & their Personnel Team. After which, we will drive back home & prepare for a lunch meeting with some of the Tennessee Baptist Convention Leadership, Monday Jan 21st
With Gerry Taillon’s blessing & attendance, I will meet for the very first time, with the potential Advisory/Accountability Team for Canada Arms of Love, on Thursday night, Jan 24th..
On Feb 3rd, I have the very distinct privilege of being the guest speaker at Evangel Chinese Baptist Church, in Edmonton, Alberta. What an honor to celebrate with Pastor Terence (Mimi) Chan & Pastor Roland (Shirley) Shum. This weekend is the 12th Anniversary Celebration for the church!

January 10/08 - Introducing...Canada Arms of Love
With joy, and with the blessing of Gerry Taillon, National Ministry Leader for the Canadian Convention of Southern Baptists (CCSB), and the CCSB Team Leaders, we want to introduce you to DK’s new ministry, beginning May 1, 2008.

The Canadian Convention of Southern Baptists (CCSB) is a network of churches who seek to cooperatively advance the Kingdom of God, by giving themselves away!
Our primary ministry is to Share Christ and lead people to a life-changing experience, through the power of the Holy Spirit. We want to see those new disciples of Christ congregate in and through a Church-Starting Movement.
It is a strong desire to see our existing churches be Strengthened to become healthy, cooperating, reproducing churches. After which, the church - each and evey member - would be a part of Sending and receiving missionaries, whether career or short-term volunteers.
We are all missionaries or we are someone's mission field.
As Associate Executive Director of the CCSB, my primary ministry area, in Canada, is working with the nine Associations and their Moderators from sea to sea to sea!
As well, a portion of my ministry is serving under Gerry Taillon, CCSB National Ministry Leader, as an Ambassador of the National CCSB Leadership Team and their team ministries. This aspect of my ministry is across Canada and throughout the United States.
